go kart dies when you turn on choke?
I have a silver fox go kart that has sat in place for about a year. but I have started once a month since a. but last week it would not start unless given the starting fluid. and when I take it off choke it dies unless I give it gas, while i choke off. any ideas? I cleaned the carb jets.
If you die when you turn off the choke, which is a good indication that the motor not getting enough fuel and carburetor is probably still covered. Airplanes are not the only thing that needs cleaning. Take the carburetor off and enjoy during night in a good solvent cleaner or carburetor to get all the dirt and varnish from the internal passages.
